DIPLO FJORD is a shrunken calf leather crafted by the long-established German tannery, LUDWIG PERLINGER. It is the leather that defines ITTI.
The shadows created by its natural texture, its resilient feel, and its vivid colors—you can enjoy its rich character as you use it daily in your wallets and leather goods.

A unique quality that
embossed leather cannot express
The natural grain is created by shrinking calf leather. It possesses a unique character that cannot be replicated by embossed leather.
The size and depth of the grain vary by the section of the hide, resulting in different expressions created by the interplay of light and shadow. No two pieces are the same, which only enhances the charm of the final product.

DIPLO FJORD is crafted by Perlinger, founded in 1864 in Bavaria, Germany. Specializing in calf leather, they continue to produce leather by utilizing the skills and experience handed down through generations.
They value not only visual beauty but also the tactile sensation when held and the quality that becomes apparent through continued use. The tanning process takes approximately 150 hours, and hand-finishing is also incorporated. These meticulous steps produce leather with a natural texture and durability.
They are also committed to sustainable manufacturing, such as using their own wastewater treatment facilities and utilizing renewable energy.
