Texture revealed through form.
With smooth surfaces devoid of large grains or patterns, RAPTO and RAPTO FLEX may seem understated as materials alone. However, their true charm lies in their presence when crafted into finished items and the pleasant tactile feel you experience when touching them.
At ITTI, we leverage the unique suppleness of each to create various forms, from card cases and small leather goods to bags.

Calfskin texture in simple forms.
RAPTO uses the "XA series" calfskin from ECCO LEATHER. It is a smooth leather characterized by its distinct suppleness and a pleasant tactile feel that you can sense as you touch it.
Its fine, smooth surface enhances simple designs. When crafted into card cases, small leather goods, or bags, the high-quality presence of the material truly shines through.

04 / RAPTO FLEX
Soft elasticity and elegant luster.
Retaining the character of RAPTO but finished with a softer, more elastic texture, RAPTO FLEX features a gentle, lambskin-like touch and a fine, delicate surface.
The suppleness of the material creates soft silhouettes for our bags. At ITTI, we use this for items centered around bags, such as shoulder bags and drawstring pouches.

ECCO LEATHER is a manufacturer that respects traditional leather craftsmanship while actively embracing new technologies and production methods. ITTI focuses on the textures created by the company and the craftsmanship philosophy behind them.
RAPTO FLEX utilizes the proprietary DriTan™ technology. By using the natural moisture inherent in the raw hides during the tanning process, the amount of additional water required is significantly reduced. This approach allows us to prioritize texture while reducing water, chemicals, and wastewater in the manufacturing process.

07 / CARE
Daily care.
Normally, gently wipe off dust and dirt from the surface using a soft, dry cloth. Do not rub firmly; maintain the leather while feeling its texture.
If it gets wet, gently blot away the moisture with a dry cloth and let it air dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area. Avoid rapid drying using direct sunlight or hair dryers.
What about using creams or sprays?
Care products can alter color, luster, and texture. Select products suitable for the material and test on an inconspicuous area before use. If you are unsure, please consult ITTI before use.
About surface scratches and color unevenness.
As this is natural leather, small scratches, wrinkles, or color irregularities may be present. Please enjoy the subtle differences in expression depending on the part of the hide as unique characteristics of each piece.
How does it change with use?
Over time, it will conform to your hand, and changes will appear in the surface gloss and wrinkling. The way it ages varies depending on the color, usage environment, and care.
