Molurus Python is the leather of the Burmese python. It is characterized by its unique, irregular stone wall-style markings across the hide. Due to its durable nature and large size, it is used in a variety of products including wallets, bags, and belts.
In Japan, this material has also been used for the skin of the Okinawan sanshin. Prized for its unique patterns and elegant atmosphere, it is a beloved leather in the world of fashion.

The expression of python leather is created by the contrast of light and dark markings combined with the overlapping scales on the surface. This creates a three-dimensional depth that flat patterns lack.
Even within MOLURUS PYTHON, the spread of the pattern and the size of the scales vary depending on the part of the hide. Each of the three wallets in the photo has a different expression. These individual differences are a charm unique to this material.

05 / CARE
Gently, along the grain of the scales.
Daily care begins by gently removing dust from the surface with a soft, dry cloth or brush. Move in the direction of the scales and avoid scrubbing firmly.
At ITTI, we recommend using Collonil Exotic Spray for the care of MOLURUS PYTHON. Care suited to the material protects it from water and dirt while maintaining its texture.
EXOTIC SPRAY / COLLONIL
A care spray for reptile leather. Before use, test it on an inconspicuous area to check for effects on color and texture.
View care item →- Gently remove surface dust along the grain of the scales.
- Shake the container well, hold the nozzle horizontally about 20cm away, and spray twice until the surface is lightly damp. A guideline is 4 seconds per 30cm square. Please use in a well-ventilated outdoor area.
- Do not touch until completely dry; allow approximately 10 minutes to dry. If you want to maintain a matte texture, leave it as is. If you want to add luster, gently buff with a soft cloth.
Avoid using on damp leather or spraying from close range. It may not be suitable for materials with special finishes or coatings. Please check the product labels and usage instructions before use.
What if it gets wet in the rain?
Use a soft, dry cloth to blot the moisture, then let it dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area. Forcing it to dry with heat, such as a hair dryer, can cause the leather to harden or shrink.
Can I use regular creams or oils?
Standard leather creams or cleaners can sometimes cause staining, discoloration, or changes in texture. Avoid care products that have not been confirmed as suitable for the material; if unsure, please consult with ITTI.
How should I store it when not in use for a while?
Remove dust and moisture, place in a non-woven fabric or cloth bag, and store away from direct sunlight and humidity. It is recommended not to keep it inside a sealed plastic bag and to check its condition occasionally.
