The three standard wallets are made of Vermol, a masterpiece by CONNOLLY, a company founded in England in 1878 that has been involved in the interior design of carriages for the British Royal Family. It is a premium leather that is in a class of its own, combining elegance and high levels of durability with a quality that sets it apart from other leathers.
Leather that combines dignity and durability
Connolly was founded in 1878 by John Joseph and Samuel Frederick Connolly as a family-run business making saddles for horse riding.
In 1902, the company entered the automotive industry after producing the interior of a coach for the coronation of King Edward VII (also used at the wedding of Prince William and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge in April 2011).
We have been providing leather seats that combine elegance and durability to British luxury cars such as Rolls-Royce, which was unveiled at the Paris Salon in 1904, Bentley, Aston Martin, Jaguar, Daimler, Land Rover, McLaren, etc. In addition to British cars, we also supply to Ferrari, Maserati, Alfa Romeo, Lincoln, etc.
Expanding into the interior design field
After that, the company expanded beyond the automotive industry into the field of interior design.
They were also involved in the production of chairs for the famous German architect Miss van der Rohe, seats in the British Parliament, desks in the British Library, Eames relaxation chairs, seats for Concorde, and the British luxury liner Queen Elizabeth II.
It was also used in the Supermarine Spitfire used in World War II, and in retro-design transistor radios made by Roberts, a supplier to the British Royal Family.
