From the ITTI 2026 AUTUMN / WINTER COLLECTION, we are pleased to announce the arrival of new items featuring KUROEI, ELEPHANT, and OIL CARNO.
This lineup incorporates ITTI's classic wallets and leather goods while celebrating the unique personality of each material.
Some gleam as they catch the light.
Some retain deep wrinkles and textures.
Some reveal their base color as they are used, evolving over time.
We would like to introduce three types of leather, each with its own distinct background and characteristics.
KUROEI
A quiet radiance created by lacquer.
KUROEI is a contemporary reinterpretation of an ancient Japanese material.
It is a rare material finished by artisans in Himeji, using stingray leather—long used for the hilts of Japanese swords—coated in traditional lacquer.
A unique, jewel-like luster emerges from the hard surface.
The deep sheen unique to lacquer overlays the granular texture of the stingray leather, creating a presence that changes depending on the angle of view.
Because the material is extremely hard, only a limited number of artisans are capable of sewing it, making it highly rare not only as a material but also as a finished product.
ELEPHANT
A unique expression carved by nature, different in every piece.
A rare elephant leather, available only in limited quantities.
It is characterized by deeply etched wrinkles, uneven textures, and a uniquely brushed surface.
Contrasting with its powerful appearance, it offers a soft, high-quality feel to the touch and boasts exceptional durability.
The fact that no two pieces are exactly alike is part of the charm of this material.
Rich in natural oils, it develops a deeper luster and richer character the more it is used, allowing you to enjoy its transformation over a long period.
OIL CARNO
Brown emerging from beneath the black.
OIL CARNO is a semi-aniline cordovan finished with a focus on transparency.
By layering a thin black finish over a brown base, we have added a deep sense of transparency to the inherent strength of the cordovan.
As it is used, the surface black and base brown blend together, gradually creating a distinct character.
It is a material that lets you enjoy not only its depth, but also the change in color itself.
