MATSUDA is an eyewear brand created by the late designer Mitsuhiro Matsuda, who was known for his work at the Paris Collection, as well as for being the founder of Tokyo Fashion Week and the DC brand NICOLE .
Launched in 1989 as an original eyewear brand for overseas markets, the brand has achieved fame for its frames with intricate engravings that are said to be on a level with works of art, and its unmistakable, one-of-a-kind designs, with all production carried out in Sabae, the home of glasses.
